Pillarbox already is meta.

Could letterbox (and pillarbox) apply to part of an image, or something in the image? For instance a single panel in a multi-panel image, or if viewing something like a TV screen that has an image with letterboxing. I don't think meta would be appropriate for those cases (and I would support removing pillarbox from meta for that reason).

bordered should only be used for the image itself, not any picture (like a photo-frame or a TV screen) inside the image. If there is a border that goes around all the multi-panel images (in other words, if all the multiple images were changed by a single image, and the border still circles around it), bordered would apply, otherwise no. Same for letterboxed and pillarboxed.
If only portion of the image has the border I suppose the tags can't be used.

Bump. Also wouldn't an alias be better? Though I suppose letterbox might get erroneously used instead of mailbox so a mass update makes sense there. Also change category of pillarboxed to meta.

Don't mass update border to bordered it's gonna make a mess.
