remove alias cropped_ears (411) -> prick_ears (17013)
remove alias ear_cropping (0) -> prick_ears (17013)
remove alias crop_ears (0) -> prick_ears (17013)
remove alias cropped_ear (0) -> prick_ears (17013)

Reason: Prick ears are generic erect wolfy looking ears. Cropped ears are ears that have been partially amputated. They are noticeably visually different and cropped_ears deserves to be a tag as much as any other kind of ear, imo. This alias is like if docked_tail was aliased to short_tail.

Part 2:
alias crop_ear -> cropped_ears
alias crop_ears -> cropped_ears
alias cropped_ear -> cropped_ears

I'm thinking ear_cropping would be better off used to refer to depictions of the actual process of cutting ears off, instead of aliasing it to cropped_ears.

There's also a bunch of artificial_* tags aliased to prick_ears and I'm not sure what the deal is with them. Are they referring to cropped ears, like the ears were artificially made to be pricked via cropping? Or is it referring to cybernetic ears or cat ear headbands or something...? If those are meant to refer to cropped ears, I'll add them to this.
Edit: I used the tag changes search and none of the artificial* ones have ever been used even a single time. Are those aliases really necessary?

i think you should replace the cropped ear examples with more distinguishable ones, post #4040344 just looks like really narrow prick ears and post #3807236 look more naturally short like a pitbull's ear

it would be nice if there was a tag to more easily see examples of cropped ears, but there isn't, and for that i'm in support of this dealiasing

Pitbull ears are naturally normal-sized and floppy, but they are often cropped very short to look like that post. That image is actually a really good example imo. As far as I know, no dog naturally has ears that look like that. See wikipedia for more info on cropping and example photos https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cropping_(animal)

Tbh personally that one definitely looks cut to me but I'll look for more examples

They've never been used before and it's not likely that they'll ever be used in the future, and their meanings are ambiguous enough (fake costume ears? cybernetic ears? cropped ears?) that I personally think it's better to just get rid of them instead of re-aliasing to cropped_ears. I highly doubt these will be missed.
