The tag alias #63177 tips_touching -> touching_tips is pending approval.

Reason: Both tags seem to refer to the frottage of 2 (or more?) penis tips, but touching_tips is used more often. Also neither of them imply frottage but that can be a separate request.

"Tips" is a bit too generic for my liking. Finger tips, toe tips, nipple tips, etc. There's already penises_touching for penises touching that should probably be used instead.

That's even more generic and could (and does) refer to any part of a penis touching any part of another penis. An implication would be appropriate, but not an alias.

As ever, I'm gonna need to see some on-site citations before giving your claims of a tag being widely used incorrectly any mind. "Touching tips" is a specific phrase widely understood outside of this site to have the exact same meaning it has on here, and the fact that this meaning is not something typically discussed in polite company dramatically lowers the risk that it might ever be used in any other context. I didn't say they were being widely used incorrectly (there's less than 300 uses, so any issue with them is going to be minor), I just said "tips" was too generic for my liking, and could have a clearer name if it's meant for something more specific. If you want examples though:

I acknowledge that the tag might cause confusion with other extremities, but that would leave “penis_tips_touching” as the best alternative option.

While this is an OK compromise, I prefer retaining the established tag for what it’s already being used for.
