I don't see the point if its the same character. Sega is so annoying. sigh

for the LONGEST TIME I known him as Fang the Sniper...........are you telling me...that I gotta rewrite my brain to acknowledge his name being "Hunter" instead of Sniper?

No thanks, pal.
Fang the Sniper will always be the Sniper. (in my eyes)

I'd thumbs down, but it has SOME merit

right, there's no point to this. SEGA doesn't know their own characters. It's them writers' fault

Apparently, Nack just likes to rebrand himself every so often, like the occasional artist. :\

It's kinda weird to me that SEGA let the name "Nack" stick for as long as it did, outside of comics it was only used in the manual of one game, every piece of canon or canon-adjacent material after that called him "Fang" exclusively, with the sole exception of the wanted poster in Gens which used both names.

although, I guess SEGA didn't really care about brand consistently back then; they pretty much just let Fleetway and Archie just do whatever the fuck they wanted. so, one side chatacter's name being different between the GG spin-off games and comics for no apparent reason is a bit of a drop in the bucket.
