Should probably be an alias, along with digitigrade_anthro, plantigrade_anthro (already aliased), unguligrade_feral, digitigrade_feral, plantigrade_feral (already aliased), etc.

There doesn't seem to be any discussion for those, so I wouldn't hold them as a standard.
It is a bit niche, but perfectly valid, and niche tags are helpful when looking for something specific.
There's only 4-5 applicable body types and 3 foot types, so the amount of combinations would be small.
The bulk update request #5254 is pending approval.
create alias unguligrade_anthro (0) -> unguligrade (11307) # duplicate of has blocking transitive relationships, cannot be applied through BUR
create alias unguligrade_feral (0) -> unguligrade (11307)
create alias unguligrade_taur (0) -> unguligrade (11307)
create alias digitigrade_anthro (2) -> digitigrade (111014)
create alias digitigrade_feral (0) -> digitigrade (111014)
create alias digitigrade_taur (0) -> digitigrade (111014)
Reason: Would it really be such a huge loss to have to search unguligrade anthro instead?
(included empty ones to future-proof. I believe the blocking transitive is the implication request in this thread, so hopefully if that is rejected then this'll get fixed)

Eh, searching unguligrade anthro may bring up something like a horse and a random anthro. An alternative is unguligrade -feral but that might exclude a few posts.

I don't think I really understand what is gained by aliasing away all more specific tags, to me it seems a lot more effective for people to be able to search unguligrade_anthro rather than having to search unguligrade anthro because that only works on solo images and will produce results such as:
post #2483207
the solution to which could be searching unguligrade anthro -feral instead, but that would just create the opposite problem of hiding posts like:
post #3479210
By aliasing away these tags you just make searching posts with more than one character a lot more complicated, which seems really counterproductive to me.
I think by implicating these tags instead, you allow far more more specific searches to be made

As someone who likes girls with hooves, I've taken to being the one to add this tag where I find it to be relevant. You'd be surprised how different interpretations of ungulates get. I've specifically seen MLP anthrofied with hooves and with plantigrade feet, and to be able to find specifically the ones which are unguligrade without having to shuffle through the feral stuff or the ones that conveniently leave them out of frame to avoid having to make a call one way or another is a huge plus.
I think adding the proper implications that stem from this as well as digitigrade would be best.

There are a significant portion of folks who use the tag and there are far worse tags that I wanna see burn before these do. If it sees a lot of use then folks might've wanted to use and search trough them.

I respect your opinion, but for your specific example, doesn't mlp anthrofied unguligrade (or even just anthro instead of anthrofied) work the vast majority of the time? I saw one result in mlp anthrofied unguligrade where the unguligrade tag was referring only to a feral.

If one result's wrong then it doesn't work. Making more elaborate searches from then on out could yield worse results with more tags.
Last thing this site needs is another "pantherine melanistic" situation.
