The bulk update request #5349 is active.
create alias question_block (4) -> ?_block (242)
create alias question_mark_block (0) -> ?_block (242)
create alias ?_box (1) -> ?_block (242)
Reason: ? blocks have so many names that all have different tags + ? block seems to be the most widely used name

i agree that a box with a question mark shouldn't be implicated to mario bros, but i think that the lucky block mod you linked to is a pretty poor example of question blocks being used in other things since that mod has a pretty strong resemblance to mario's question blocks
Other than implication, it makes sense.
Removed the implication, didn't think about that at first but it makes a lot of sense :)
Should this be swapped to target ?_box instead? The ?_block is nomenclature derived from the Mario games, and ones like those in post #113906 are more accurately called a box instead of a block.

Meh, a block on a screen (2D) or a box on a screen (3D) is still pretty much the same thing. I mean, from a certain POV, it's only called a 'block' because it's a box that resembles bricks. See also: Lego bricks versus Mega Bloks.

Honestly, I agree with this. Having it be ?_box instead of ?_block would fit posts that aren’t Mario related and Mario’s ? blocks always contain something anyways.

who is Mark Block and what has he done that warrants questioning?
