This might need a disambiguation, I think. There's also a jumpsuit or jump suit, which is a one piece garment, and jumper cables, often used to connect car batteries to jump start a car.

It also looks like some people are using it to refer to hoodies.

Admins seem to be trying to have fewer disambiguations when possible, so I'm wondering if this could be dealt with without one... Are jumpsuits ever really called jumpers? I've never heard them called that. Idk if people would ever put the jumper tag on jumper cables but I guess it could be a possibility.

That was the first thought that came to my mind when seeing the word. Though maybe that's an outlier and not as common as it seems to me. I didn't know one-piece dress-like clothing counted as a jumpsuit, either.

That would probably be better, if others agree.

I'm not against the alias, although I was thinking of a jumper as in someone threatening to jump off a bridge or other high place presumably to their death. Or a bungee jumper who's doing it for the thrills. Both should be tagged as something other than just jumper, I agree, but both would be relatively rare situations compared to sweaters. Plus, since those situations are likely going to involve characters wearing clothes, this alias is still probably not going to cause any mistags. :p
