Topic: BUR clothing lift implies raised

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #5494 is pending approval.

create implication clothing_lift (37257) -> raised_clothing (16734)
create implication shirt_lift (21002) -> raised_shirt (10021)
create implication skirt_lift (6729) -> raised_skirt (2830)
create implication dress_lift (4357) -> raised_dress (852)

Reason: If clothing is being lifted, the clothing is raised. I don't see why the tag wiki explicitly negates this relationship. If someone doesn't want to see the clothing being actively lifted, they can use -clothing_lift.

Raised clothing:
When a character's clothing is lifted up in a way that leaves them exposed, but without anyone actually trying to lift it.

emphasis mine
While,

Clothing lift:
When a character is lifting their own, or someone else's clothing. Usually done to expose whatever that clothing is covering.

Clothing lift is usually used when the character intends to lift up the clothing, while raised clothing is only unintentional.

As the wiki stands, the implication should not go through. You can argue that the wiki should be changed.

Edit:
Raised_clothing seems to be very prone to mistags.

Updated

The wiki should definitely be changed, "raised clothing" has an obvious meaning. There are already thousands of posts of it being used in that way. It doesn't make sense to add qualifiers to the definition that should instead be expressed while searching (e.g. raised_clothing -clothing_lift accidental_exposure).

The current state makes it unnecessarily difficult to search for either tag and get what you're looking for.

The current state makes it so that even if your implication goes through, there's still a lot in raised_clothing -clothing_lift that should be tagged with clothing_lift, that neither tag works well. However if we want clothing raised no matter the circumstances, ~clothing_lift ~raised_clothing works.

I feel like this problem is only going to grow with time, and it'll keep being used erroneously, that their definitions need to be changed and/or have them be aliased together.
