Topic: The black_and_grey tag annoys me.

Maybe an alias would be better. Black and grey should be for images that have only black and one shade of grey (like how black and white is for images that have only black and white, with no extra shades), while greyscale is supposed to contain a scale of grays (which can include white and black). But looking at the tag, a good number include multiple shades of gray, making it the same as greyscale.

I mean, black_and_grey's only got 600 posts, that doesn't sound like too bad of a cleanup.

Grey and white is aliased to greyscale, so I don’t see why black and grey wouldn’t be too. It’s more logical to me. Both contain grey and an other colorless shade.

Seems that alias was made a long time ago because a lot of people used it with many shades of grey, making it the same as greyscale rather than one shade of grey and white as intended. If black_and_grey has the same issue, an alias would also be appropriate, though sipothac suggests it might be a manageable cleanup project. Either way, an implication doesn't seem appropriate; it should either be an alias because it's used the same as greyscale, or it needs a cleanup to be only black and one shade of grey where greyscale isn't appropriate.
