"Ear feather" sounds like it'd be an ear piercing with a feather hanging off it, while feather_ear is the ear itself being a feather.

Wouldn’t this case count as a form of earring or adornment/ornament? Maybe we could have the tag "ear_feather_(ornament)".

The current ear feather tag is entirely made up of feather ear mistags, and the tags are so close to eachother, they are prone to getting mixed up often.

It is like the "furrified" vs "furrification" debate, both words mean different things, but both words are used interchangeably and that can cause mistagging. I agree with Dimoret's proposal.

If there's a tag for it, yeah it would make sense to alias ear_feather to that, IMO.

There's currently nothing tagged with ear_feather, and the tag's usage history shows it was only added by you 15 hours ago, which was subsequently fixed by another user. You may have mistaken it for feather_ear, but given the wording, I think it's more likely to be used for a kind of adornment if someone else were to use the tag.
