The tag alias #65759 spice_the_fox -> spice_the_chipmunk has been rejected.

Reason: Character is an OC and is a chipmunk, not a fox. Source: She belongs to me.

EDIT: tag has been changed and I know now I can just do that myself.

EDIT: The tag alias spice_the_fox -> spice_the_chipmunk (forum #388333) has been rejected by @scaliespe.

Could these be fixed manually? I don’t think an alias is a good thing, in case an actual fox named Spice is posted.

Perhaps the tag should be changed to spice_(skaihigh) instead of spice_the_<species>, to avoid this issue and not be confusing in the case of alternate_species.

i'm admittedly brand new to e621 and it's tagging system, alias is the only thing i could find from googling and reading the help section. if there's a way to manually change the tag itself, please tell me how and i'd happy change it to Spice_(Skaihigh), unless it's something only a mod/admin can do, then I guess i'd be officially requesting that from them?

Just did it. You just need to edit the tags for each image, anybody can edit tags

thank you very much! I'll make note of that for the future, I wasn't sure if it was something anyone could do or not.
