Alternately, we could implicate civet, genet and linsang to viverrid. Some users might find that useful, because all three species look so similar.

(Would make those easier to tag too. It's often hard to pinpoint the exact species, but at least those could be tagged as viverrid instead of just unknown_species, mammal...)

Also, sea_lion is an eared seal, and should probably be implicated through that. Since seal is currently tagged for all types of seals, as far as I can see.

I've never even heard of those other 3, but looking at the wikipedia article for viverridae, it seems to make sense.

Oh, so they are. I didn't even notice that.

Went through these today and approved most of them. However, I wanted to get some feedback for the husky/malamute ones before I did anything with them.

Technically "husky" is more of a class of dog than a breed, but the term is also a common name for siberian huskies. I think if we did any aliases, husky -> siberian_husky would make more sense to clarify usage, but I'm not sure. As of right now though they are tagged on essentially the same posts.
