Is there a reason this one still hasn't been approved after 18 days? My uploads usually get approved within a day or two. Did this one just slip through the cracks?

there are many other problems staff deals with here which they do in their free time. posts may get deleted if not approved in 30 days. you could politely ask a member on the final week or so and if it does get deleted you can ask NotMeNotYou to please approve it as long as it follows uploading guidelines it should be fine

check staff under the Help index and you can see who does what here (the permissions they are allowed, seen on their user page)

If posts don't get swiftly approved, it is likely due to problems with artistic quality standards.
Your post is bordering between "just good enough" and "not good enough", so it's currently waiting in queue until somebody makes a decision.

Hard to say (although it's moot now). Sometimes, it's artistic quality standards. Sometimes, it's uncertainty over whether it's paysite material or not (yes, I know that's been resolved in your case, but not everyone remembers to check for any notes other staff have made on such things). Sometimes, it's just that the right approver simply hasn't gotten to it yet.

Anyway, you needn't worry too much until something like 27 days have passed whereupon you can message a Janitor and ask them to make a decision on it.

Looks good enough to me, but my standards are... probably biased by age and reading tons of comics. ;)
