So if I'm seeing correctly, if a series contains characters only present in it, it gets its own tags, and characters in said thing imply the series, which implies the general series.
So in this case, for example, Mangey Tails (alternate Universe of Tails, obviously), should imply Sonic_Prime, which implies sonic_the_hedgehog (or whatever its called), but I don't think it should imply Tails itself?

in my opinion while most posts containing the character himself should probably be tagged with miles_prower because the character design is pretty much the same, the tag definitely shouldn't imply for the same reasons as alter egos don't imply the base characters.

pretty much the same way the Knights of the Round from Black Knight work, you could have a character dressed as Sir Percival without being dressed as Blaze.
