Topic: Threads discussing legislation locked?

Posted under General

This topic has been locked.

Everything that's been said has been said. We don't have any more answers and these threads were devolving into vpn requests.

The fundamental question of any such discussion is "will our leaders respect and defend our civil rights" and "how do we get our rights back if they don't." The first is just speculation, we don't know. And the second is activism and politics which is off topic. The site is going to do what it has to to survive including cutting off entire regions. The battlefield for that isn't here.

Thank you for pointing out the reasons. That should hopefully reduce chances of someone accidentally crossing that line, again. Time for a lock? XD

Take it from my country, the Philippines, when in the efforts to crack down on child exploitation back in 2017, it banned porn sites with it from anyone who used Internet services from major telecommunication comapnies. Which didn't work that well as the porn sites can be circumvented via VPN.
