Topic: [Feature] DMail notification upon accepted/rejected AIBUR request

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Requested feature overview description.
An automated DMail sent to the user who proposed an AIBUR request notifying them it has been accepted or denied.

This was once a feature on the site, but I guess it was one of those features we lost with e621ng? It's honestly taken me a while to notice it's missing, approvals have been so slow for the past few years (until now) that I had just seen on the forum when my requests were accepted.

Why would it be useful?
With the recent surge of approvals it's very easy to miss that one of your requests have been approved, which is a problem if it requires additional work like a second BUR, some manual tagging, etc.

I'm only just now learning about the catastrophic damage I caused 3 days ago

Even without the surge of approvals, it would be helpful for people that check the forum less often.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
Aliases, implications and BURs

I support this feature. It should also message the approver and the proposer if the enters the [FAILED] state.

YOU HAVE UNREAD MAIL!!!!!!

mini heart attack Every. Single. Time.
please have an option to have the notification less menacing

Probably a good thing, though once its approved, isnt it already too late to like, undo it? or does it only apply as people edit posts? I guess it helps prevent future mistakes but.

Actually, maybe I was wrong and we only had notifications for deleted aliases in the past and not when they were approved/rejected? I still think it's a good idea either way.

From my email archives:

You received a private message on e621 from parasprite:

One of your tag aliases was deleted
A tag alias you submitted (castrated → castration) was deleted for the following reason: Moving to eunuch.

You received a private message on e621 from titaniachkt:

One of your tag aliases was deleted
A tag alias you submitted (ちさ → chisu) was deleted for the following reason: Incorrect romanization .

I forgot we actually had rejection reasons back then, too.
