The tag alias #69385 claws_out -> claws has been approved.

Reason: In theory, this tag makes sense for characters with retractable_claws who have their "claws out." In practice, this has just been tagged for visible claws, sometimes on felines that could have retractable claws. I don't see a point in trying to do anything meaningful with this tag if people will just tag it on any visible claws anyway.

This tag seems to contain both the "claw slits" where the claws are presumably retracted into (so an implication to claws won't work), characters who have selectively retracted some claws but not others, and occasionally animations depicting the claws actually protracting/retracting (like the post above). We might be able to tag retracted_claws and protracted_claws and have them imply retractable_claws or something like that, if anyone likes that idea.
