The bulk update request #8329 is active.

create alias elzorrogomita (5) -> foxgumie (322)

Reason: Most posts for foxgumie are tagged under their twitter handle, elzorrogomita, while most of their accounts use the handle foxgumie or some variation (furaffinity uses foxgumiess). I only just realized this while looking at and updating their artist page.

They only use elzorrogomita for their twitter handle, twitter display name is fox gumie, and links to foxgumiess FA

Their Twitter uses both names.

Also, you haven't set the category to change the new character tags to. Since they're empty, they can just be manually switched over and the change category lines removed.

Lines for the mass update can probably be removed too, that can be done manually when there's very few posts

Oh, right, I forgot. We have to create the tags first (by adding them to a post) before we can manually change their category. :\

Addendum: I just created the tags which allowed me to change the category and use the tag script to shift the characters' posts to their new tags for you. If you want to change the mass updates to aliases, that would cover any future tags.

Not necessarily. Pending AIBURs which alias (or imply, but i'm less sure about that) to the tag will create the tag if it doesn't already exist. However this does not apply to mass updates.

This is why aliasing to a disambiguation tag and changing its category in the same BUR never pops up # missing

Which is why I added in "manually", as in going to the tag's page to change the category. As you said, AIBURs do it differently.

And I realize that I hadn't updated the original version of my post when you posted. Sorry about the confusion. :\

If the tag has an (active, pending or rejected) alias to (or from) it, you can manually change the category from the wiki too.
But other than that you can't change it without adding it to a post first.

They use 'foxgumie' on their deviantart , instagram , and youtube handle

Also I've removed the _(foxgumie) character tags from the BUR since Clawstripe updated those

Edit: In the meantime, I've started tagging posts by them as both elzorrogomita and foxgumie so users are able to see all the posts
