Reason: This is used to with multiple unrelated things. Could be actual gases like oxygen or helium, fuel/petrol, bodily gases like farting or belching. It should be a disambiguation tag.
It was aliased this way previously back in 2019 (alias #27103), but was undone about a year ago for some reason

Having gas as an umbrella tag for all kids of gases, bodily or otherwise, probably wouldn't be too bad of a thing. The only problem is gasoline might throw a spanner in the works.

Probably the crusade against "confusing" disambiguation pages that has so far resulted in nothing but more confusion.
