Definitely should be aliased to its first part dragon rather than invalid tag
Or could alias to interspecies
Also, it looks like every instance of this tag, and its wiki page, are the product of a single user over the past three days. Disciplinary action might be in order, if only to alert them that they need to stop.

You don't discipline users who create new tags that they think might be useful. You tell them whether or not it is appropriate, then dissuade them from creating new ones in the future without discussion.

The bulk update request #8602 is pending approval.
create alias dragon_on_gryphon (0) -> interspecies (310377)
Reason: Better target. The tag is too specific.
Where is the guideline or rule about tags being too specific? I’m not able to find one. In my opinion, this tag is useful.
Edit: oh right, interspecies is a tag. I support aliasing it away to that.

Reason: let's not forget these too

Can we alias dragon_on_human to interspecies? Otherwise +1

Same for here. Interspecies is a more niche tag that's less likely to already be tagged on the image

hmm... only by a bit, interspecies is only about 31k posts (9%) smaller than dragon, which means it wouldn't take much for interspecies to overtake dragon, making it show up first in the autocomplete menu when typing "dragon", and it's alrady being pushed down a few slots by dragon_penis and dragon_pokemon

This reminds me of the cub project where we need to worry about making sure that stuff like human_on_feral/human_on_anthro/dragon got tagged.
dragon_on_gryphon -dragon -gryphon -interspecies There is literally 0 results, so either someone already got to it, or it was redundant, anyways.
Just because I'm bored, LOL:
dragon_on_gryphon -dragon -gryphon -feral -anthro
dragon_on_gryphon -dragon -gryphon feral anthro -feral_on_anthro
Oh look, already done as well.

Yeah, if you look at tag history, someone got to it.
Interspecies was missing from ~130 of those, which shows that it'd be a good alias. It's forgotten far more often than dragon, etc.

I find it odd that ALL the dragon_on_gryphon results have both feral and anthro on them. No, wait, I messed up my exclusion operator.
dragon_on_gryphon dragon gryphon -feral -anthro Was empty...
dragon_on_gryphon dragon gryphon feral anthro -feral_on_anthro Populated some tags for the 2 results.
The tag also was removed from anything where the gryphon was the one penetrating lol.
