The tag implication #64420 grovyle_the_thief -> grovyle has been rejected.

Reason: Grovyle the Thief from the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games is a Grovyle, yet if you just add the character tag, the species tag is not added.

Rather than add two tags manually, shouldn’t the character tag imply the species?

These implications never work because you can draw a character as alternate species. Like even just someone going like "wow it would be cute to draw him when he was a kid, I am going to draw him as a treecko :)" is enough to fuck that up.

Characters don't imply species in case of alternate_species. If Grovyle the Thief was depicted as a human, he would still be grovyle_the_thief but not a grovyle.
