to summarize my own opinion: "null", as we use it, is adjacent to gender but it, in itself, is not a gender by our definition, as null characters can still present (as well as identify) as feminine, masculine, or androgynous. while a character having a featureless_crotch generally is required for a character to be considered null, not all characters with a featureless crotch are null. it's probably closest a biological sex, which is kind of what existing lore tags like male_(lore) are for.
currently the tag is mostly used when a post featuring a character with a featureless crotch is involved in a sexual situation or is posed in a suggestive manner.
I believe that the tag's current status as a general tag causes confusion more than anything. moving it to lore would make it easier to use and it would make it easier to understand its position as supplementary to the existing gender tags rather than it being a seperate 8th gender category.
I think it'd be better to invalidate null and make the lore tag separately, null gets applied to posts where there are no lore implications very frequently, like when there's just nothing there in the crotch region
moving it to a lore tag doesn't solve that problem, it's just taking it and pushing it somewhere else
That somewhere else being into a category whose tags have even less eyes on them

I'm not sure how invalidation would be the best course of action here. usually invalidation is for when there's no consensus on what the tag is for. and cleaning out an invalid tag would be just as much effort as cleaning out a lore tag.

I meant disambiguation, clearly the tag is being used for multiple things, that being featureless crotch as well as the actual null gender
Sending to disambiguation makes sense to me.
I am unable to create a BUR because antecedent name has already been taken.

you'd need to reject the alias first
