Topic: UNO!

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #9227 is pending approval.

create implication playing_uno (0) -> card_game (559)
create implication playing_uno (0) -> uno_card (24)
create implication uno_card (24) -> uno (146)
create implication uno_card (24) -> card (4729)

Reason: If a game is identifiable as Uno, it must by definition be played with Uno cards, which makes it a card game.

An Uno card doesn't fit under the umbrella of the playing_card tag (these are what you'd use in poker), but it is still a card regardless.

UPDATE: corrected the use of the existing copyright tag, added playing_uno tag to indicate an active game of Uno.

The second one should be uno_card implies uno, not the other way around.

I was thinking of it from a game perspective since Uno cards are occasionally used outside of games (Uno Reverse meme), but from a copyright perspective you're absolutely right. However, there should be a way to denote when a game of Uno is being actively played. Maybe an uno_(game) general tag that would fit like this:

imply uno_(game) -> card_game
imply uno_(game) -> uno_card
imply uno_card -> uno

Of course, I'm open to suggestions on a different tag name for an active game of Uno.

UPDATE: I settled on playing_uno
