It does seem like it could be a problem. Like I don't see any form of editing a wiki already made which yeah the problem comes to the first person who does it could be wrong on something or might not have the best detailing. So could wiki's be edited?

No, every wiki page is automatically locked upon creation. Please do not make any efforts to search for an "edit" link on the wiki pages you want to modify.

the edit button for wikipages is in the page sensitive bit of the top bar/hamburger menu.

In case the sarcasm above is not obvious enough, wiki pages can be edited by anybody after its creation unless specifically locked by the mod team.

Doesn't it do it automatically once a tag is used enough?

dosn't look like it, seeing as this 28k tag's wiki was edited just a few months ago.
the only thing that gets locked automatically based on tag population is category, as far as I'm aware.

OP, what page were you trying to edit but couldn't?

category changes are a free-for-all until the tag hits 100 posts, at which points only administrators can handle it (either by changing the tag type directly, or by approving a BUR.)
