Topic: Female Urethra; is it a useful tag, and should we re-name it or get rid of it?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Currently, this tag has almost 600 posts for female_urethra and no wiki. I can understand the direction someone would be going for with a tag like this, but I don't believe its name is correct.
Any suggestions on what we should do with this tag?

Why wouldn't it be useful? And what do you think is incorrect about it?

Most likely because there's no real reason to tag female urethra as separate from a male urethra. urethra exists and should be fine for both

there's 50 pages of solo female urethras that are not tagged with that. sounds redundant, but i guess it depends on if it's a big enough distinction to the people searching for urethras-

oop, was typing as the alias was posted.

well, there's the gender problem, female has a fairly strict definition on here. where as, depending on definition, a tag like this could apply to characters within up to four of the seven gender categories.

This; I can understand someone wanting a distinction between genitalia, but it shouldn't be gendered.

It might matter to have a seperate tag if people are looking for herms that specifically have a urethra within the vulva in addition to the penis but that would need a diferent name to not just be tagged with any female, or set, also rather niche.

I wonder if it could be renamed to something like vulval urethra
