Topic: Tag alias: oyakodon -> mother_and_daughter_(lore)

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

is this is 100% a term exclusively for a mother and daughter? "親" just means "parent" and "子" just means "child" ("丼" means "on rice")#, so that'd make it seem the metaphor would work with any combination of parent and child.

also, this is an implication request rather than alias request.

"Oyakodon" is not literally gendered in Japanese, even if in practice it usually is.

post #870346 also depicts a literal tanindon ("stranger bowl", pork + egg + rice), there's nothing necessarily stopping an artist from portraying a literal oyakodon.
