while he's never made it clear which of the two is his real last name, Harrington or Elbertson (or, more accurately, he's stated both are at diffrent points, with a relatively reasonable explanation as to why). "Elbertson" is the name he's performed under for the last decade or whatever, so whether the person's name is one or the other his character's name is certainly jeremy_elbertson.
