"Takano" is a reasonably common Japanese family name, plus it's already used in a few others tags so I think it's ambiguous enough that it probably shouldn't be used as an artist tag.
They're also a self-uploading artist who generally seems to prefer takano, though they have used the occasional takanoart.

So, flip the alias? (It is an alias, right? Looks like it.) Since they seem to use both a lot overall, ofttimes on the same accounts, they likely won't care one way or the other. Still, someone could ask, I suppose.
