Scallion is currently categorized as "artist", but its sole use is on a deleted post (3707972) with no further activity for two years. It is not likely to be reused, and common sense would indicate the artist name gets disambiguated, not the object.
Currently, onion is the common/bulb onion, but perhaps current uses should be mass-updated so that both vegetables can imply onion.
