I personally would like to see Shadow the Werehog. I saw it a couple times in a comic and a sketch but really there's nothing out there. Seriously. Google searches got nothin'. I just think it'd be neat.

I hate to break it to you Captain, but your characters aren't getting on the DNP list. Neither Char nor Tony are going to go down the route of DNP'ing characters.

Once your crap is off here, if you're not an artist you'll have to constantly fiddle with takedown requests if people keep posting your art. Doesn't that sound like fun?

Fine then, let's just start with someone picking up the slack and process takedown requests, it's not like there's a shortage of admins around to do any actual work.

I don't plan to stop using e621, I just don't want to provide any more content, so I guess that as long admins refuse to add characters to the DNP list they'll have to deal with my takedown requests which don't require a lot of work to fill out.

Well, currently we don't have a lead admin due to Char stepping down so just be patient. Once they selected a new dude, takedown requests will be handled.

No, this isn't entirely true. The usual implied agreement is it's a temporary license for the artist to draw the character according to the character owner's wishes. Intellectual property is not given in this case.

I am one of those people who appreciates gift art, so I make the announcement on my FA profile that I will grant this implicit temporary license to draw my character to anyone who checks with me and satisfies my few requirements.

It's just fucking furry art, guys. It's not like you invented a form of free, clean energy.
