Daniel San Renard.

Never heard of him.

The question was not did you hear of him, but does any one have info on what does he do now and why did he disappear.

Since than nothing.

I find it strange that people don't know of San Renard, he was very popular during 2008-2009.

But seriously, i am very interested into the whole scene of him leaving the digital art world. He had so much followers, and his stuff was awesome.

I've just heard the name (and it has persisted thanks to Renard_Queenston). San Renard. That's all I have, sorry :/

Definitely heard the name before. Probably when I was watching Negaren videos.

I checked his dA, he hasn't posted any new artwork since 2008 and a comment on his profile says:

Daniel Renard aka San Renard has pretty much given up his online presence, to focus on his IRL work, as a digital artist and cartoonist.
In January 2010, he became self-employed and founded Daniel Renard - Digital Media; a company with intention of working solely with the digital media, such as Illustrations, Design and Animation.

His greatest ambition, is to become a recognized classic 2D Animation Movie Director for both cartoon series, as well full movie-length cartoons.

Whether that's true or not I don't know but I don't really have a reason to doubt it, either way he's gone now.

Not sure how accurate this is but it's all I really saw that wasn't just posts of his work.

I don't know him too well but I have played Final Fantasy online with both him and his girlfriend. They are both well; still doing the LDR scene. He does animation work but more professionally now to my knowledge. (Doing things for Cartoon Network such as Flash mobile games and the like.) I'm sure he's not active simply because well... if you want to try to push to be more professional, DeviantArt and furry things can hold you back a bit. XD Hope my answer helped!
