I agree with this. I can think of a use for "funny" that doesn't overlap with humour (there are things that are funny when they aren't intended to be), but it would be a subjective tag. It's probably best to just alias funny -> humour.

Humour (or humor :p ) and funny are, to me, the same word... just different in the "level of formality" so to speak. Compare two people who's written and are about to perform a skit for you. The 8 year old might say "This is funny!" while the teen or adult might say "this is humor look at/a comedy." While that's not so much the difference here, that's *my* first thought about the difference.
errr.. anyway... there shouldn't be two tags for it, anyway. One tag to let people know that the image is intended to be amusing is enough--and Humor fits that better then funny :)
BTW, why do we use the British spelling? not complaining, just curious.
