Bumping because I hate starting new topics.

Do we 'prefer' the english names for tags or japanese? or both?

I ask because I tripped over an image that an enterprising soul had tagged in both. And in French. and German.

and there seem s to be a great many images that are tagged in English, but not japanese, or the other way around... leading to, say, needing to look up serperior AND jaroda fro all your snakey grass type needs.

Also, Oshawott is cute :D

ALWAYS put the english name, Japanese name is optional. And never put the CloneCharizard name. NEVER. He only put those there so names would work sorta.

Took me for-freaking-ever to figure out WTF a CloneCharizard name was. But, definitely not. Those aren't 'real' names D:

Ok, anyone talking about Japanese names, is not on topic. Wotter is NOT the Japanese name. The Japanese name is ミジュマル Mijumaru, ( courtesy of http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Oshawott_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29 )

Wotter was the nickname given when it had no English name. Now that it has an English name, the nickname should be phrased out.

Wotter is the clonecharizard name :3 cause it had no real english one. but yes, this is exactly what this is about.

So... what about using "wotter" to mean a wolf-otter hybrid, completely independent of pokemon?

Tag it with wolf, otter and hybrid.

unless it gains significant popularity under that name. (Very few do) keep it as wolf otter and hybrid.
