Topic: Alice Lidell

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Why has the tag been removed? Nearly every other iteration of her is blonde, sane, less violent when threatened, and doesn;t have a rapist, murderer, mind rapist as a psychologist. This specific Alice has brown/black hair for starters. The only logical reasons I can come up with contradict earlier answers I've recieved. That, and it's considerably easier to type alice_liddell than alice_(wonderland). Not to mention the necessity of typing alice_(wonderland) american_mcgee's_alice now. Dare to compare.

The remove of this tag is silly, bordering on stupid, when one considers the absolute refusal to remove Pinkamena as a 'separate character' when it's another personality of a character, whereas Alice_liddell is her actual name. -.-;

Wait, what is this thread talking about? Did someone remove alice_lidell from posts? I still see 16 posts that have that tag, and there are no aliases or implications or anything set up for it.

Alice Pleasance Liddell (/ˈlɪdəl/; 4 May 1852 – 16 November 1934), known for most of her adult life by her married name, Alice Hargreaves, inspired the children's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, whose protagonist Alice is said to be named after her.

HOWEVER. Alice has never had a CONFIRMED last name, it is said her last name "May be" Liddell. Depending on the mythos really. I believe the recent alice {the grim dark one, return to wonderland?} Had given her a last name, but most people dont know her by the name "Alice Lidell" most don't follow the continuity or care that much. So she was renamed appropriately to what the character is commonly refered to as, when I say "Alice in Wonderland" I don't mean "Alice Lidell in wonderland", simple. But as char said, their are no alias's or implications set up to do such a thing, so someone had to manually go in and change them.

That said, she is given a "Full Name" in the Tim burton "Alice in Wonderland" Film, which is Alice Kingsleigh. I believe the Grim Dark "Return to wonderland" goes with Alice Lidell. But most of the other constant media, including the disney film, and the KH games just call her "Alice"

Ok, looking over the tags again. Alice Lidell is on a lot of those {With the alice lidell tag} Otherwise it would not show them when you clicked the tag name. You simply don't "See" Them because they don't have a character/artist tag, {And likely some users thought Alice Lidell was the artist, and not the character.
