It's not SF, just an (allowed, AFAIK given it's by a well-known artist) use of one of Bernal's character. Last I knew the characters were not DNP -- there are actually several non-deleted pictures of various characters of Bernal's (done by other people, and unrelated to SF) here ATM. Only the site's artwork is DNP (although, admittedly, ALL site artwork, including freely-available promo stuff... To my understanding that was a kind of 'well, fuck you too' reaction to Bernal's moving straight to threat of legal action without even contacting Arcturus or anyone else beforehand).

ok not to be an ass i like sexyfur.com but if u are the pic owner u need to have ur self put on dnp that way if some1 posts your pic it is auto removed.that is all u can do most people will just look at this and say who gives a F***.

Eh? They won't ban you for tagging Sexyfur images. If anything, that makes it easier for them to find them in a search. Now saying "Saving before it's deleted" can get you into trouble but I've never seen anyone get permabanned for it.

i haven't seen anyone get permabanned. sure people have gotten banned for thousands of years but eventually it will be lifted if site is still up =p

Really? If people click on the DNP list, it's probably because they have an interest in not posting things on the DNP list. it's the people who don't click on the DNP link that don't care.

Why is it that, 3 months after it is discovered users can continue to look at deleted images just with a single mouse click, the issue still persists? Don't get me wrong, that is hilarious as hell. Also, bad deletion policy.

This was scheduled to be fixed yesterday, actually. Not sure yet why it wasn't.

It's no longer possible to search for deleted images, but that appears to have no effect if you can find the URL directly. Would it be possible to simply remove the ability to view to original image until you can come up with a better fix?

And now I see post #55218, post #61979, and post #141686. I'd be sad to see them go, as I love that character, but she is property of Bernal, who is an angry, angry, angry man. I know he's not the artist who drew those, but I feel that for the site's sake it's best to pull them. Just in case.

I would have flagged them myself, but I'm not 100% on the policy since it's not his art, just his characters.

Well, it's not paysite material, and the images have been hosted on other sites, not to mention we have other characters of his, drawn by other artists, so I dunno.

He has no claim over someone else's art unless they specifically hand over the rights to it in written documentation. In other words, he can stick it up his ass re: those pictures unless the artist asks. Anything that is paysite material (what was it, paysite material under two years old specifically?) should still go poof.

Dude may be off his rocker enough to go after anything for remotely trying to host paysite content of his, thats understandable. But I don't think he's quite skitzo enough to copyright a furry character and then try to shut down other sites for art he has no actual claim too. And ontop of that, simply claiming the artwork in question is a parody or "Spoof" of the character means its free game.
