Under the MY ACCOUNT tab, click SETTINGS and you will see a big white box labled TAG BLACKLIST that will allow you to enter the tags you want blacklisted. Enter tags, save, done.

here's the way i see it, if he's allowed to upload half assed commissions, some i won't argue are of a decent talent, even if he knows that it's going to cause drama, how is this different of me uploading an image of something that will cause the same reaction, say, of his character being murderized?

It's not your business or anyone elses to "cause drama" about some art that he's contributing to the site. Trolling is trolling, disrespect is disrespect. Blacklist him and forget about him if you have that serious of an issue with someone you've never met. Though, I'm no admin, so the final say belongs to Mellis or one of the other admins.

I'd assume that type of thing isn't allowed simply because someone uploaded a picture of him being burned by the TF2 pyro earlier, and subsequently had their post deleted and account blocked for 27 years.

Did the addition of text make the picture more heinous than a straight-up guro pic and worthy of a ban?

As far as I'm concerned, he can redeem himself in my eye (for all the two grains of salt it's worth) by never begging for money or asking for another commission again. The dude is mentally ill. Bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of commissions, started begging for money, spent THAT money on commissions, and wound up homeless. That's a pretty fucked up "addiction." I hate calling non-chemical shit addictions, but jeeze. Last I saw him, he had absolute no understanding of the situation he put himself in, and why it was his own fault.

EDIT: I know of course mellis and Arc and crew are the ultimate decision makers. I just think that letting him post his commissions on this site (or any site) is enabling him, and probably not a good idea.

I have been homeless before, and buying commisions and browsing e621 were the least of my concerns. I serious'd the fuck up and got a job and a place to live so I could, you know.. eat and shit.

You see guys, it's not about how Allan lives his life. I am not concerned with how he chooses to live his life, after all that is his prerogative. I am concerned however, with what gets posted to e621; either as a comment on an image or an image itself.

Allan quietly started posting his art several weeks ago. (Great, another contributer to the site!) More so than that, he's purchased what he is posting - how many of us can actually say that? Again, let me stress that I am not concerned about the means he utilized to purchase his art, that is not the point.

The point is that Allan is contributing to the site, tagging his posts, and increasing the collective database publically accessible furry art.

Unfortunately we have a good many users here who do care way too much about how Lupine Assassin lives his life and they are more than willing to share that opinion. While that in itself is not a bad thing, actively seeking out and harassing/trolling/slandering a person is. These are the people who are being banned.

I'm not banning people randomly mind you, I'm looking for patterns. People with consecutive negative comments on Allans posts, people who signed up less than a day ago and have made several negative posts against him personally (it's not so much the art that people are trolling, it's the user himself), you get the idea.

The guy has baggage I'll admit, but that should not matter here. If you want to comment on his art; critique the art, not the person it was made by or for. I'll never trounce a person for submitting art, or posting an honest opinion and/or critique. But... I will ensure that you cannot participate on this fun little website any more if you decide that being an asshole to people, whoever they are, is a good idea.

In all honesty, I don't really see anything wrong with what he's doing. Diogenes spent his entire life as a beggar while dedicating himself to philosophy, and that was during a time period when being homeless was a lot nastier than it is today.

Looking at it from Maslow's point of view, Lupine is obviously meeting his Physiological needs and is now focusing primarily on Self-actualization at the expense of the others. It may not be the norm, but it's obviously not killing him. If he wants to dedicate himself to achieving a sliver of immortality through the arts of others, then I don't really see a problem with it. He could drop dead tomorrow and leave more of a mark than most people who spend their entire lives caring for themselves; that in itself is admirable (in my opinion).

I never said he was. He is however a commissioner of art and he's very dedicated to it. If it makes him happy and he can get by just fine while doing it, then there's nothing wrong with it.

As for the begging, unless someone is making him sign a contract over it then any money given to him is his to do with as he pleases. If a picture is worth more than a roof over his head then that's his prerogative.
