He's actually NOT causing drama. Yes, he has a lot of pictures, yes, they're mostly commissions. Who cares. He spent the money, it's his deal. If he ends up needing the money, it's his own fault, so there's no reason others should be pissed at him for it. People need to settle down and relax. But I have this odd question, is e621 supposed to be a *personal* archive? Generally, for things like that, you have to pay. I can't help but feel awful that pieces done by people like Mary Mouse and Straydog are voted down because of backstory. But anyway, I thought people had to pay for personal archives.

But I also take issue with the "Trolling people, for any reason, will get you warned/banned. Leave moderation to the mods.," stuff because a good portion of things on e621 are attempts at doing such a thing. I believe someone has this thing about Zen and frequently engages in such behavior by posting poorly butchered pieces.

And on another note, I believe lupine_assassin must be the unofficial mascot, as his posts of his character far outnumber the posts of any official mascot.

You place trademarks on characters, not copyrights. Although trying to trademark "a generic black wolf with a red bandanna" might be tricky. The character's just too bland.

I'd say the real "impotent 'fuck you'" occurred when people began voting LupineAssassin's stuff down just to rate it down. They don't actually hate the art in most cases, they just wanted to be dicks towards the guy and it was the only way they could... and it didn't matter.
