"I wish I was x.", "x" being "the one in the middle", "the orange/pink one with the wings and the glowstick cock", et cetera. Variations are also annoying, e.g. "Oh murr that lucky bastard! I wish I was the one having my colon liquified by forty horsecocks!"

Also, RP comments, but we've seen less of those now that the management made it official that being creepy is frowned upon. And let's not forget people who complain about tag errors without fixing them.

How about names? Do they count? Because seriously, and not to start a hate train, but I find names like "Gayteensex" astronomically more annoying than any single comment.

(To share the hate, some other names discovered from the records pages: "cuntslut", "madhentairabbit", "Gayhorstachio", "SuperKinkyGayCub", "Alextheyiffer")

Really? Aw thanks :3

btw names don't count as that is not a comment.

Also, those names are really fucking hilarious.

"trololol" or any variation thereof.

Any comment with absolutely no attempt at proper spelling or grammar.

I agree with most of you, but the most annoying comment to me is

"Well let's see you draw it better. Thought so. Shut up." I'm sorry, but if laymen aren't allowed opinions in art, then art is dead. To me, this statement is equivalent to "Well, let's see you build a house." to someone who comments on shoddy workmanship of a house. It's. Stupid.

The second most annoying is when people say something like "don't like it? don't look at it." I dunno. I can't always tell if I'ma like an image from its thumbnail, and not liking an image doesn't invalidate my opinion. If it offends you, sure, blacklist and move on, but I'd rather not turn this site into Etsy where we circle jerk to how awesome everyone is. That, and just because someone else doesn't like an image doesn't mean they think your opinion is invalid. Everyone just needs to work out that differing opinions are ok, they don't mean anyone thinks anyone else is terrible[/i].

3) Bad grammar (but also grammar nazis)

4) Anything that belongs on 4chan (that goes for pictures as well though)

One that I'm sure would annoy everyone but that I will use regardless until it makes an impact, is "TAG THIS (tag) DAMMIT!"

Especially prevalent on Hyper and Gay images. If I come across something that's mongo-hypercock and it's not tagged hyper, you can expect me to say something along the lines of "TAG HYPER, DAMMIT!" before adding the tag to that particular image myself.

For the love of good do, people need to tag their shit (but only say it after actually tagging). I'm so sick of people that ca n't even be arsed to tag the character's fucking sex.

Furry vernacular.

I would appreciate the occasional bit of wordplay juxtaposing sexual desire with zoological terminology; especially if it were actually clever and unique. But instead all I see is people throwing the words "yiff" and "murr" at every little thing. It's like a worn out joke that was never funny to begin with.

People making those insipid comments take attention-whoring to a whole new level. Not only does this person feel the need to flaunt their rampant sexuality, he also has to point out just how cuh-razy his fetish is to everyone around him.

But...ugh, just being a really irritating and critical person over porn is just...why

Because we can.

Porn is art. It isn't a particularly deep form of art, but it's art.

Every image on this site was drawn or painted by someone, and that person will always have things they need to improve. There's nothing wrong with being critical.

Oh, and I'm talking about evaluating the technical quality of a work, not complaining that something doesn't suit your tastes.

Oh, and I'm talking about evaluating the technical quality of a work, not complaining that something doesn't suit your tastes.

Right. Agreed pretty much entirely. I don't especially mind someone saying "would be better if the penis weren't a tube" 'cause the Comment section is there to express opinions, as long as they're not getting uppity at the people who do like the tube and implying that liking (or disliking) tubecocks makes you less of a person. There's nothing wrong with constructively criticizing an image, or a comic series, and the people who say "Quit complaining and fap!" just really irk me.

Now, if they're saying "This is scat and scat is of the devil and all scat should go away," that's dumb too. Just don't look at scat.

While I'm on this rant, elitist comments drive me nuts. Personal preference is just that. Personal, and preference. Just because someone has a different one doesn't make it invalid. I also get annoyed at the reverse, where people think criticism of a picture means criticism of everyone who likes it. Sometimes "blacklist and move on" is the proper response, but other times it reeeeeaaallly isn't. I'm done.

Updated by anonymous

+1 to everything KloH0und and RedOctober just said. Also, pornography can be a surprisingly good test of the artist's understanding of anatomy and artistic techniques (perspective, foreshortening, chiaroscuro, etc).

I'd like to think that occasionally providing constructive criticism will help artists to do better and ultimately lead to more artists with a high degree of skill. This seems like a positive, whether you come for the art, or at it.

"LRN 2 TAG PROPERLY"

"Tag your shit"

The "anatomically incorrect" comment is especially annoying on TFs. It's a damn TF! It's already something unusual that couldn't possibly happen in real life, so what makes you think the anatomy has to be just-so? TFs don't need to follow those rules, and usually don't.

Updated by anonymous

Actually, anatomical complaints are perfectly valid in depictions of transformation. In order to draw a physical transformation, you must possess an understanding the morphology of both the creature undergoing the transformation and the creature it is transforming into. If an artist lacks that understanding then it shows in the artwork. If it shows in the artwork then people will say something.

Sure, there are no real-life examples of what something would look like mid-transformation and that ambiguity leaves the portrayal up to the artist's imagination. But the idea is still grounded somewhere between the two creatures you started with and if you don't stick at least somewhere near that reality then your work just becomes nonsense.

Although, just because a drawing is technically inaccurate doesn't mean it's of low quality. I think that's the real issue, people throwing around the term "anatomically incorrect" like it's synonymous with "bad."

But on the flip side, it's just as ridiculous when artists claim that anatomical errors are stylistic choices.

So it all comes down to the fact that art is a very deep, complicated medium of personal expression

and people are idiots.
