  • There is a very noticeable lack of any facial feature whatsoever, the gradient on the right side of the face (viewer's right) is incredibly stiff and does not blend well with the shading (or lack thereof) on the clothing, and the lack of ANYTHING between his ears, not a single bit of ruffled fur or swept-back / 'combed' lines, is a bit irksome. Also I realize it's a style you're going for, but you're using the symmetry tool a little too much. Faces are supposed to have some uniqueness to them. Without, it just looks bland and draws attention to the forementioned lack of features.

i see what you are getting at. i was just messing with the multi-brush (or symetry) tool on krita. that "unblended gradiant" was my attempt at making it look like there was a lighsource around the wall (though i forgot to make it look like theres an ally wall behind him) that was casting just a sliver of light on his face.

ive never been that great at creating depth using lighting and shading. and thats why i need people like you to tell me whats up with the pictures i make. without someone pointing out the mistakes you make, youll never really know your making them. so thank you for your criticism. and if you want, continue making these criticisms on my work.
