The Worthy Son by Twinkle-Sez

Story

After Tamara Fox ends up being sold (again)
at slave market.

But this is not precisely a sale. In precise point-of-fact Tamara has yet to be sold. The first occurrence she escaped from bondage; and when handed over to the Fenrir this time there is the small matter of Tamara having escaped originally. Clan Kikka still owns Tamara, at least according to the Fenrir Slave Books.

Not visible in this image, but present and behind-the-scene, is Sharissh, Tamara’s owner and Fenrir Master, who paid only a small sum to come into possession of Tamara’s flesh. Sharissh is the youngest child of the aged Jinyssa Who managed to impregnate a three-quarters Warg bitch at the ripe old age (ancient for a Fenrir) of sixty-nine.

Perhaps Jinyssa was just too mean to die when he should have.

Now, being the last child Sharissh inherited only the clothes on his back from his father’s estates. He has had to make his silver by accompanying caravans and merchants within the Sultanate (and perhaps a bit outside). Eventually Sharissh, a rather imposing part-Warg, complained to his elder brothers who made off much better than he. These Kikka brothers handed Sharissh a document, a title as it were, bestowing upon him possession of their father’s pleasure slave, Khuzama, who escaped many years prior. The document has proven to be nearly worthless, for when Sharissh visited Azerbaijan to fetch his ‘property’ he was promptly sent on his way empty-handed.

But times change and the document is valueless no longer. Sharissh has been summoned to fetch his property at market, Khuzama having fallen back into Fenrir hands. He has no use for the pups she carries, but those will be sold for small amounts when Tamara whelps.

There is a brief period of adjustment, since Tamara refuses to answer to her old name of Khuzama, but that is of minor importance – in the year 3994 C.E. Sharissh the wanderer has come into possession of a very valuable half-Kitsune pleasure slave. This turn-of-events irks his estranged brothers of course; they only handed over Tamara’s title in order to be rid of their half-brother.

Sharissh makes his gold from his slave’s flesh now, and that is what this picture is about. Tamara dances for stranger recently arrived in the city; Tariq of the Suturah clan, bastard son to Alecrast, absent king over Azerbaijan. Tariq was mostly raised by Alecrast’s daughter Aria, who has a habit of gathering her father’s bastards around her, to be raised ‘properly’, as befits a son of a King – ‘properly’ according to Aria’s way of thinking. Tariq chaffed under the rigid instruction, palace rules and expected patterns of behavior of his half-sister, and so disappeared one evening as dusk gave way to night; followed Alecrast on horse out of the palace at the age of fourteen, to join up with his father on adventures of which he had heard many a tale.

Though having short legs, and leaving a bit behind, Tariq never caught up with his father. Eventually he lost the path, and took nap in tree beneath the moonlight, then set off again shortly before dawn. And so in the year 3986 C.E. his family heard no more of Tariq.

Until 3995 C.E. By that time Tariq had seen a bit of the world, and had survived his own numerous adventures. He prefers the name Brandt now, which he acquired in German lands; Brandt meaning ‘torch’ for the color of his hair. He is worthy offspring in that he has survived, travelled far, learned much of people and places, and picked up numerous languages; all of which allow him to deftly negotiate with this merchant, or that Pasha, for the importing and selling of House of Tamara Fox aphrodisiacs and perfumes. Brandt appeared in Baku after Tamara had already been escorted away from the city and off to distant market, and he was given position in sales due to his fluency in multiple languages. Having been part of a pirate crew briefly, and seen the grimy underbelly of many a large city, Brandt understands well the principle of making sure those in authority get their own small cut from the profits when making a deal.

Brandt is destined to go far in his new career.

Here we see Brandt taking relaxation one evening, watching a pleasure slave at her dance. Tamara knew all of Alecrast’s bastards in the palace, and though she has not seen Tariq for many years she believes she recognizes him.

It is not purely chance meeting. Sharissh’s notices, which he posts onto pole or board so as to advertise Tamara’s favors (or even her fertility as Sharissh makes large sums from the leasing of Tamara as breeding slave), are sufficiently detailed to where Brandt quickly recognized his father’s former slave. He resolved to seek her out, should she still be available locally, when his negotiations were concluded or had reached an impasse; for Brandt is the ever-curious sort.

The negotiations went well, a contract having been signed, and Brandt is in a good mood this evening. Fortunately for the young Fenrir Sharissh has not yet left for the next large Fenrir city along his journey's route. Gold has been exchanged between Brandt the customer and Sharissh the owner, and with a nod from her current Master, King Alecrast’s former slave begins her dance before the handsome Suturah bastard.

Perhaps Brandt will purchase more than just a single dance, for the night is long and he knows the airship he desires to take will not leave until late on the morrow.
