MemberAlright, added the posts to the tagme section. Let's hope we can get some more tags up in here. Also, while we're at it, who is the artist?

MemberI think this is Meesh? It's a patreon comic though. The free preview ends in two pages, I think.

MemberThat doesn't extend to alcohol.

MemberA better question would be if alcohol affects Turians at all? We don't really have any working model for silicon based life. But I guess if they breathe oxygen it's not out of the question.

MemberI think the quadri-balls are rather... aesthetic, tbh

PrivilegedIn the lore (IIRC) it is stated that Quarian and Turian use dexter amino acids (humans use laevus) and hence require protein with that configuration. Ethanol is not an amino acid, additionally it does not even have an asymmetric carbon so it only has one form, no matter how you twist it everyone is getting the exact same thing.
Of course that doesn't mean that they're drinking pure ethanol (or ethanol for that matter), or that something one species can consume is safe for another, or that everyone magically would get buzzed from drinking ethanol... But this is pretty much just fantasy, so...

BlockedIn Mass Effect 2 Shepard meets a turian bartender on the Citadel who offers a green drink saying "If you're like me, it'll kill you."
Alcohol still needs to be made specifically for either human or turian.
