I love armadillo penis as much as the next bi/gay guy, but Esix fits e621 in every way. Plus, I always thought of Esix as gender neutral, not female like most people think.. shouldn't a mascot be? That way people can turn it into female, male, shitting dicknipple herm... whatever ya like.

I think that the second in command of the entire site should hire a moderator and give them the username "Esix"
I view Esix (personification) as an Moderation Systems Assistant; lore-wise, Esix is the robotic duality to the organic Hexerade, and is (lore-wise) one of the reasons the site hasn't fallen into complete turmoil.

for that, they would have to change an old old user's name in order for this to work. That user is the one that uploaded many esix pics i think

I was looking for the 2d version, but man was this ahead of its' time.
