BlockedObviously this isn't the bottle she is talking about :)
ps. never understood how an animal with full fur body could need sun-blocker^^

MemberUV rays can damage horses and pets just as badly as humans, and fur only does so much. From what I decided to read, a lot of human sunscreens have ingredients harmful or toxic to pets, and the liquid kind doesn't gel with animal activities as well. In general, the best tactic is just staying in the shade, but there are options. Apparently there does exist a designated pony sunblock that's powdered and sticks to their coat even in water or sweat better than liquids or sprays.
So yeah, I learned something today.

BlockedSure...wouldn't want that plot to get sunburnt.

BlockedIn the wild horses and zebras roll in dirt to create a rudimentary form of sunblock as well. In general horses also tend to recognize shade and use it when the sun is exceptionally hot.

MemberTired to update the character tag for this but not allowed to. The OCs' name is Beauty Mark, mother of Nikita. Anyone able to do the update for me?

MemberJust to give you an idea how bad it can be for animals even with thick fur: Sheep shouldn't be held on pastures with amber, since it makes them more susceptible to a bad sunburn.
