remember, folks, if it looks female in the picture, we tag it as female.

the character might be a (well-known) herm, this picture shouldn't be tagged as herm.

Hir is in fact not a made up, it is a commonly used word. His is a male pronoun, Her is the female pronoun and Hir is the gender neutral pronoun. Is in in a dictionary? No, but there are plenty of words that ARE words that aren't in the dictionary.

^ Slangs still get in the dictionaries however. If a slang word gets popular enough and used often officially, then it gets in. Ain't isn't a word, but it got in. Slang or not, a word is word! Word! XP

I'm sorry moderators/admins. But we need a new system, because "Tag what you see" doesn't work at all, as this picture, like many others, clearly illustrators. We all know damn well that's a herm in the picture, yet because of the rules, she's been marked a female. Makes the search engine rather useless..

But, I'm not all complaints, because I know you shouldn't complain unless you have a suggestion, so here's mine:

1. "male_character", "female_character", "shemale_character", "herm_character", "cuntboy_character", etc.. tags for searching by known gender of a character, not just based on what is in the picture.
2. "male_twys", "female_twys" tags for searching based on the silly 'tag what you see' rule, for those which care about just that. If people want to find pictures with herm characters, but without their gender being visible, they could search for "herm_character female_twys" for instance.

Also, the 'tag what you see' rule is flawed anyway, since it assumes that if the body looks feminine, then it's female if you can't see the crotch. Likewise, it assumes a character is male if they're masculine and you can't see the crotch. That'd be fine on a website with vanilla porn, but this is e621.net! So probably instead of "male_tyws"

So if Artica was facing the viewer, but had pants on, she'd still be marked as female. That's just silly. :L
