No, flash is using vectors, so you can view it at any arbitary resolution you want and it will look absolutely fine. What you can see here, is artist using dithering method that uses that kind of grid pattern to get rid of color banding - which is bit dum as they are using solid colors so there would be no color banding outside background sky.

We do allow same animations in all available formats as there are so many up- and downsides with all of them. However we do not need dublicates of same stuff, so I would say that post #1157146 would count as dublicate to this one and simply keep this one as it's artists official version. Simply tell the artist that they could do much better job with they gif conversions.

I would still sorta classify it as an artifact but yeah I get what you're saying.

I just wasn't sure whether it was worth keeping the other or this one and I'm honestly still not sure.

Might just be easier to leave this one up for now as it's the official version. And have it as is instead of going through x amount of variants so people can just enjoy this artist's work.
