Description

- You know, Edgar, each season has its own mysterious beauty. Winter dips the world into a fabled dream; it mutes sounds, colors, smells and carefully covers ground with a diamond veil. Somehow, in winter there is inexplicable desire to dream, to hope, to believe in miracles.
Oversized snowflake stung Edgar into his eye in a not-fabled way, while he was trying to find a worthy answer to Vera’s rapturous words. He never loved winter, he couldn’t find anything dreamlike about it, but he decided not mention it to avoid dispelling her poetic mood.
- Yeah… There is a lot of snow this year. – Edgar uttered, rubbing his disturbed eye with his glove.
Vera caught several snowflakes with her palm. Watching them disappearing on yarn of her gloves, she said:
- How amazing! Do drops of water really transform into this lovely form without anyone’s effort?
- Well, it is all because of water’s molecular structure, due to which hexagonal crystal cells of ice are formed. – Edgar responded thoughtfully. – Our whole world is a wonderful thing.
- And beautiful! – Vera giggled, snapped up a small pile of snow and launched it into the air, admiring a shine of drifting crystals. – I am so glad you can feel and appreciate this beauty as well!
Edgar was smiling, looking at blushing Vera. At that moment, hardly because of winter landscapes, he was as happy, as she was.
