It was quite clearly because they are the same species and subspecies. He related the doe and the buck as well because they are both the same. So equating the 3 identical felines isn't a hard pattern to follow.

More like the the stag is the doe's jealous boy friend who doesn't dare go up against the much stronger dog and ends up jerking it as he watches them.

For some reason, I really like the fox and all the otters showering together in the back. I'd definitely be the one doing that; you know, something very friendly and gentle, yet still very intimate.

This is one of my all time favorite Zaush pieces, and after years of coming back to this I just noticed something. The doggo holding the trophy and being attended to by the cheerleaders is a lot skinnier and shorter with little muscle tone compared to the rest of the guys.

I have a big theory that's the kicker, who probably just kicked the game-winning field goal. If that's the case, as someone who roots for the underappreciated underdogs, way to go, my man!
