The only thing i don't really like about the characters are their human hands and feet, but i guess its just down to personal prefernce, otherwise a great looking image!

I agree. Absol is supposed to look more doggish and this makes them look like monkeys. If this was implemented on infernape for example, I think it would look great!

I'm more astounded by the fact that people keep calling them monkey feet, when monkey feet clearly resemble hands more than anything.

HUMAN feet is the term you guys are looking for.

Either way, I prefer to draw my pokemon based characters a bit more unique and off model, because it better stands them apart from he other countless anthro pokemon designs. They all start to blend together eventually and it gets boring, this is far more satisfying for me to draw. poke'morph is probably a better label for my designs. Way off model but still recognizable as the inspired species.

Feet can be argued, but when it comes to hands on anthro characters, I'd rather they have articulate functional fingers, instead of giant clumsy claws. Seriously, you try doing a lot of your simple, daily activities with giant straight claws for fingers.

(As for why humanoid feet? because I like it that way. That won't change. And I have a lot more people that like it than dislike it along with me, so I have no reason to change it. I know there are a lot of you who are just simply disgusted by humanoid feet and let it dictate how you view it in art, but too bad?
That's personal preference, not my problem, and I absolutely love them.)

Your works are pretty good and it's great if humanoid feet is your thing but it's just that you put too much of a gap between the big toe and the second one. Maybe it's your preference as an artist but you're going for a realistic human foot then it's just off.

That's just what I am trying to say he makes the big toe to spaced out that it makes it look like a primate feet and the big Teo is supposed to be bigger then that and make the nails bigger or better yet put claws on them human feet just look at ZP92 he makes the sexyst humanoid feet with claws wrinkle soles and high arch

I personally was going more for the fur rather than the structure... it kinda just cuts off at the ankles and wrists, resembling what a monkey would have. Listen, I'm all for humanoid feet, I'm not telling you to stop, your art is great. I just feel that it's incorrect for the general anotomy of absol.

Too many questions and complaints, not enough appraisal. Tanuki works hard on this stuff, and he/she takes commissions. We should be grateful we get something as good as this.
