Sure looks like one, mostly cause of the tentacles and the eyes.

I'm saddened by the loss of quality of images, granted probably to reduce the filesize.

Unfortunately, GIF is hardcoded for 8-bit color. Only way to make this look nicer is to switch to Flash or some other more obscure format.

Animated PNG looks rather good, but I've seen very few of those.

this is a series of pictures I've seen on lu.scio.us. don't go there anymore it's full of ads pop-ups and other annoyances that make it difficult to enjoy pics

for lu.scio.us just sign up for the membership. its free and once you do, only one pop up for each visit no matter how long your there.
