I know Scappo was trying to make her look ultra-stylized, like in the show. Unfortuanely, their muzzles just don't translate over to his personal caricaturization very well. The face just looks way too canine.

MemberCorrect. That is not an equine muzzle. Equines have a blockier facial structure, where canines are a lot more tapered out to a point. Canine mouths open wider so they can have access to their back teeth and possess a stronger bite force for it; equines (and most other ruminates, for that matter), chew their food longer, and don't require that much opening (food would fall out, etc.)
Anyways...this is still pretty cool despite that "avoidable_anatomy_mistake" lol

MemberGood gracious D:
Its now 5 month, since I saw the first MLP:FiM pics here on e621 and I was confused about the hype, couldnt understand why everyone suddenly love ultra-cute and girly ponys and such things.
Now, 5 month later, Im a big fan of FiM, watch all episodes twice, can sing the most songs and collect pictures from all my favourite ponys. I love Rainbow Dash, laugh about Pinkie and ... and ...
To make it short: Im another victim of equine fever, Ponymania, Bronysm or how you want to call it and Im very sorry for my comment 5 month ago. Please forgive me T.T
"AND THEN LOVE ME! ... I mean, when you want ..."

MemberWhy does it matter? The ones from the show don't look anything like real horses either. Different people just have different art styles.
